Thanksgiving '13

We hosted this year.  BnL and SnL came up.  We had Cousin and Husband too.  Fun to have family!

The food was good.

And the conversation was good too!

Might need to watch out for SnL though...seems like she might have a problem.  :)

The Grans

We had Tiny's baby blessing a little after he was born.  The Grandparents came out for the blessing.  In the LDS church babies are blessed and given a name in front of the congregation.  It's also a chance for family to come and support the new parents.  We were so glad to have them come out!  While they were here we took some portraits.

We all love that Grandma, especially Grandpa!

Here's Grandpa with Fish.  Grandpa is also a builder.

Trunk or Treat!!!

Our ward (congregation) has a Halloween party every year.  The youth (12-18) put on a mini-carnival with games and things like face painting.  Fun times! After the carnival, the kids "trick or treat" to decorated cars in the parking lot.

I offered to take pictures of the kids in their costumes.  It was very enjoyable!  There were so many great costumes.

If you were there and want access to all the pictures with full resolution copies, post a comment (with an email address) and I'll send you the link to the page with the password.

Moss Beach

One of the best things about living where we live is the awesome access to awesome beaches.  This was one of our best trips.  Moss Beach rocks.  Gotta time it with the low tide though...

Of course Daisy made friends right away and started collecting.

What are we collecting?  Hermit crabs!!!

This is what I got when I said, "Smile!".  Both were too busy doing their thing.

Note to self: next time plan on getting into the water even if it's cool out.  Grandma took a hit for the team.

Afterward we looked up well-rated restaurants and found this one.  Lobster roll was what it was famous for.  The lobster roll was good, but definitely not 22 dollars good.  The clam chowder on the other hand was great and definitely worth its 10 dollars (though it was a little peppery).

Fish and Momma playing before the food arrived.
