Lighthouse

While grandma and grandpa were in town we decided to check out a lighthouse.  We headed up to Point Reyes.  It was pretty crowded, but a lot of fun.  It was good to give the kids a chance to run around.



Here's the lighthouse at the bottom of 308 steps.  The counting of the steps was particularly dramatic.  Our little counter, Daisy, would lose count, but the numbers are on every 10th step, which helped us stay on target.


The sea was so beautiful.


There was also some awesome lichen growing along the trail.


The kids got some good exercise and we saw some beautiful stuff.  I call that an unqualified success.

December Park

We took the kids to the park, even though it was cold, to give Momma a break.  My folks were also visiting and it was super nice to have them.



I'm surely bias, but I sure think he's a good lookin' kid.

Daisy created a race course in chalk at the playground.  We took turns racing each other.
