Dallas

We're in Dallas!!! We came for Brother's wedding, we stayed for Dickey's Barbecue ( I just found out they have one like 10 minutes from my house!).  Here's the troop at the airport.  I love the look on Tiny's face!  Not even a year old and he's posing for me.

My Sister and Brother-in-law put us all up while we were there.  They're so awesome!

The about-to-be-married man is above.  His soon-to-be in-laws had us over for dinner.  It was wonderful!

Here's their youngest with a nephew and niece.

With marshmallows and toothpicks you can build a lot.

We've had four babies added to the family in the last twelve months.  Three of them came in the last six months.  Two came in the last month.  Here's some of the Mommas with the babies.

Here's the newest one.

Something to keep the kids occupied, though there is a little Jackson Pollack going on here.

The night before the nuptials, my folks held a dinner.  Good food and fun to have so much family.  Here's the beautiful bride-to-be.

Brother with his buds.  He had a pretty tight-knit groups of friends.  They came all the way to Dallas to send him of right.

My uncle and aunt came up from Houston.  It was fantastic to see them.

On the right, another aunt and uncle that came out from California.  We're blessed with great family.

It's official!  They're hitched!  This is outside the Dallas Temple.

We relaxed between the wedding and the reception.  The reception center was beautiful.

Beautiful light outside.  The photographer couldn't have had a better setup.

For the groom cake (a southern tradition), my brother wanted something creative.  In his not-very-long-ago youth, he built a big tree house.  He was pretty dedicated to it till the insurance man said it had to go.  His cake is an homage to that disassembled tree house.

My two brothers, the wood-working one and the one getting married put together the groom cake-stand and the cake topper.

With the (good) craziness of the wedding behind us it was time to have fun.  Pile on!  And here's those newer dads with new babies (mine was getting ready to walk).

Nearby was a science discovery center.  Tons of fun, especially the big bubbles.

Lots of fun parks around too!

It had rained and cool everything down.  It also made it muddy.  But I'd take the mud over the heat any day.

Kite flying thrilled the kids!

Trying to get that kite up, Fish ran!

Relaxing, watching the wind blow by.

Another awesome park.  Way more kids though.  Fish had to stand up for himself a couple of times.  I made sure other kids didn't need to stand up to him, but he acquitted himself well when he had gotten there "first".

Daisy LOVED being with her cousin.  You can't imagine how much she loved it.

Daisy used to struggle with monkey bars but she did great!

On our way out of Dallas, the TSA suspected my wife with the baby strapped to her middle of carrying contraband.  In fact we weren't even traveling with liquids.  The vessel in question was empty.  Really?  Really?  Instead of common sense we have rules.  We have rules because common sense isn't common any more.  I'll be quiet now.
